The 1888 Hotel (102) 1st Floor ADA

Positive: stayed there for 2 days. I really liked the location and how quickly the staff communicated with us over the phone. They accommodated us and allowed us to check in an hour early. The room had a nice modern renovation, and there were plenty of outlets in the room. There were also clean towels and a small stove for cooking, with all the basic things we needed. The building also has a beautiful lobby and outdoor seating areas on both the first and second floors, which made the place feel even more comfortable and pleasant. Also, there is a covered parking garage about 5–7 minutes from the hotel, which is very convenient. What I appreciated the most was the staff — they explained everything clearly and quickly, and we had absolutely no problems with them Negative: However, there were a couple of issues that I didn’t like: 1. There was a strong unpleasant smell in the room, like sewage, and the windows could not be opened. 2. The air conditioner was placed directly above the bed, and it clearly has maintenance issues — it needs to be cleaned because it was dripping water directly onto my head and face

Loved it! Positive: Great location. Nicely renovated with eye towards maintaining historical integrity of the property. Loved the water filling station and being able to walk to nearby restaurants and parks.

Love boutique hotels. Thoughtful touches Positive: About 1/2 Mike walk to downtown. Very thoughtful touches. Bed was very comfortable and big bathroom. Negative: The parking situation was a bit inconvenient. The garage is a couple blocks away from the building.

Positive: C'est un bel hôtel, décoré avec soin. Il est également bien situé. La chambre était très bien équipée. Parking accessible à 5 min à pied. Même de nuit le secteur est très calme et on ne ressent pas d'insécurité. Par contre, même si on ne voit personne, à la moindre question, les hôtes sont réactifs. Negative: Le frigo faisait un bruit assez dérangeant par moment d'autant qu'il est à côté du lit mais si on a pas le sommeil léger ça va. C'est vrai qu'on peut se sentir assez enfermé, car la chambre est petite et aucune vue à part un mur érigé derrière la fenêtre qui ne s'ouvre pas. On reçoit un nombre de mail automatiques importants pour le rappel du dépôt du Pass de parking.
