Positive: Easy to get in, very good location and clean Negative: Parking is far away, end up parking on the street every day, room needs to be very uncomfortable cold otherwise it gets really humid…

Nice roomy comfortable suite accommodation with good WiFi and ideal St Pete location. Positive: There was no breakfast, but that's ok because the kitchenette is so good. Big fridge, burners and utensils for cooking, and plenty of space, along with a nice sofa and coffee table. The suite has the bedroom on one side and salon with kitchenette on the other side of a pass-through bathroom with a nice roomy shower with good pressure and fast hot water. The mattress is nice and firm but not hard, and the fans and air conditioners work well with easy controls. The lights are varied and classy-looking, and windows can let in light or be covered with convenient shades. The location is so central that it made all of St Pete's downtown delights, including Mirror Lake, the harbor and all bars and restaurants, walkable from the hotel. The WiFi signal made remote working easy and comfortable, with power outlets in good locations for the PC. Negative: Check-out time at the 1888 is too early, 11am, and sadly inflexible. I work at night and spend most of my time in Europe, where industry standard check-out time is 12 noon, and even then, a polite phone call or visit to the front desk usually gets a free one-hour extension. Hoping to check out a bit later, I tried kindly calling in advance, but 1888 uses some kind of non-local answering service for its Customer Help line, and the lady i talked to, after a very long, wordy "let me confirm what you are asking and call my supervisor to ask if it's possible," called me back and said that no extension was possible. I find this odd in a nice hotel during February.

Good vibes, excellent location, and close to coffee!! Cant wait to do it again! Positive: What an amazing little spot!! This place far exceeded my expectations. I stayed at the "apartment style" room on the second floor and it was just perfect. My highlights are - extremely comfy bed and pillows, the bathroom had everything I needed, the kitchen area was very roomy with every appliance imaginable. The BONUS is that if you love coffee, KAHWA is right on the corner about 600 feet from the entrance. All other St Pete fun stuff is all within walking distance. I love that this place is just one block on the "not so busy" side of St Pete. As for parking, I have a high vehicle so I wasnt able to use the parking garage, but I was lucky enough to find street parking right at the front entrance every night. Street Parking is FREE from 10pm to 8am. SO party late and wake up early! I cant wait to stay here again. The virtual staff was excellent and I had no issues checking in or checking out.

Great place to stay for our daughter’s swim meet Positive: Very nice boutique hotel. We all loved it. Good location. Negative: The view from the room wasn’t great-nothing can be changed about that. BUT, it would be nice if someone cleaned the windows.
