The 1888 Hotel (205) 2nd Floor King Studio Suite

The hotel was adequate, but probably wouldn’t stay again. Positive: The room had everything we needed including a useful small kitchen area. The bathroom was wonderful once we figured out how to operate the shower.😊 Negative: -There was no onsite staff. If you call the number given for assistance, you speak with someone out of the country! -Parking was difficult on arrival, the alley behind was difficult to find, and the overnight parking was too far away. -There is no elevator for this three story building. This is not good for hauling bags or even walking if you are older. Certainly not handicapped accessible, and this was not made clear in the hotel information prior to booking/arrival.

Great location to be close to downtown and the Indy race .. very walkable Positive: Kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Shower was nice as well Negative: Space is tight for storage but not unworkable

Lovely place to stay. Positive: Very nice decorated, nice appliances and good location Negative: Should have told about the stairs, no staff in the property.

Would have left after first day if already hadn’t paid Positive: Great looking seating area downstairs . Ease of check in . Great communication. Negative: I felt claustrophobic for the first time in my life . Too much going on in area . Way too small for two people and luggage . It definitely is for a certain guest but not a for a vacation . I can’t imagine how dirty it will get when people are cooking in there . If I am not mistaking this was the honeymoon apartment ?! . There is noooooo privacy of sound anywhere on the floor . Needs to be renamed for sure
